Google Classroom Training
In light of recent events, our regular training cannot continue in person, but it can occur online! We have recently created a Google Classroom for the squadron to supplement some of the training that would occur on Tuesday nights. The platform itself is very easy to use, all you need is a personal gmail account (it cannot be a school email address) to access the benefits. UPDATE REGARDING REGULAR TRAINING
The following is a message from our unit's Commanding Officer; Dear Cadets and Parents, I just received confirmation that our stand down will continue through until 30 April 2020. That means that we will continue to put on hold all cadet related activities including: regular Tuesday night training, extracurricular activities (band, sports, range, debating, etc), community service events, fundraising events and field training exercises. Recent Cancellations
As a result of the developing COVID-19 situation, some events have been cancelled. The calendar has been updated. The following events are cancelled; - Marlies Cadets Canada game, scheduled for March 21. - Waterloo Career Expo scheduled for April 19. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. FLORIDA TRIP IS CANCELLED
To Cadets and Parents, It is with great disappointment that I announce 715 Squadron's 2020 March Break Trip to Florida has been cancelled. This decision came from Formation (Ottawa) and applies to all cadet units who have trips scheduled internationally. I, as well as Mrs Shilliday from the SSC, support this decision. The 2020 Toronto Sportsmen's Show invites Cadets to come out and participate with the Canadian Cadet Organizations Information Booth and assist at the Air Rifle Range.
