Below is list of what is coming up this October. Remember that all events are subject to change so keep up to date with us on our Squadron Calendar.
Oct 12-13: FALL FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE (FTX)
Cadets will be travelling to Mount Nemo Scout Camp for the weekend. Information, Kit List and Permission Form will be posted on our Home and Resource Page when it is available.
Oct 16: Fitness Testing
Cadets will be meeting at a local Gym (Location to be announced), instead of meeting at the Legion, to participate in Fitness Testing. All cadets must participate in Fitness Testing at least once a year. It is also an opportunity for cadets to earn Fitness Proficiency Badges. Cadets can earn their Bronze, Silver, Gold or Excellence Badges.
Oct 21: Gliding (Afternoon)
20 Cadets will be provided the opportunity to fly in on of our Air Cadet Gliders at Niagara District Airport. Sign up will be posted on sign up page. Cadets will be departing the Legion on a Bus at around 1200hrs and returning at around 1800hrs.
Oct 23: CO's Parade
Another month another CO's parade. Don't miss out as there is a CO's Inspection as well as awards and presentations.
Oct 26: Comedy Night
This is a 19+ event for Family and Friends. It is a fun night were we bring in professional comedians and all proceeds go to 715 Mohawk Squadron. Invite everyone you know and make sure you stop by the SSC to purchase tickets.
Oct 30: Halloween Costume Night
This is a regular training night with a TWIST! Come in to cadets and show off your Halloween Costume one day early! Prizes will be awarded to some of our costume wearers, so come out and be creative!
