Coming Up in May and June
Spring Gliding: May 19th
This event is open to all cadets, but we only have 20 spots available. Sign up will be made available on the website once priority has been given to those one the Cancelled Nov Gliding list.
When: May 19 from (Time to be Confirmed)
Where: Bus will leave from the Legion, 828 Legion Rd.
Dress: Long pants and closed toed shoes.
We also recommend cadets bring a hat, sunglasses, water, snacks and something to sit on as we will be in an open field all afternoon. HEALTH CARDS ARE MANDATORY
Annual Ceremonial Review Prep and Team Building Weekend: May 25-26
This is a Mandatory ACR and Team Building Prep weekend for the whole squadron. The entire squadron will be participating in a fun weekend of Team Building while making preparations for our quickly upcoming Annual Ceremonial Review. When: Sat May 25 0900-1600 & Sun May 26 0900-1600 Where: Burlington Legion Dress: Civilian Attire; be prepared to be outside and doing drill (no sandals) Kit: Cadet should BRING their boots and polish. Food: Food will be provided by the Squadron.
Annual Ceremonial Review Dress Rehearsal: June 4th
Cadets will be in Full Uniform for our Dress Rehearsal. Consider this a mini-annual. Therefore parents you are invited and encouraged to attend the entire night as we will be awarding presentations to cadets; including level badges and promotions.
Arrival: 1830
Step Off: 1915
Dismissal: 0830 (approximate)
Year End Trip: Jun 15th
For our year end trip cadets will be travelling first to Fort York in Toronto, then to a dinner and show at Medieval Times.
When: 1200-2030 (Return time show and traffic dependant)
Where: Drop off and pick up and Burlington Legion
Dress: Appropriate Civilian Attire
Cost: No cost to cadets, but spending money is suggested if they wish to purchase anything from the gift shop at either location.
Summer FTX: Jun 21-23rd
Our Summer FTX is almost upon us! This is going to be a really fun weekend. We will be at Kelso Conservation Area.
